Crochet CAT 🐈

Hi everyone in this community. How are you guys doing . I hope you all are in great health and fitness and enjoying your life. The weather is changing. It is still cold but not too cold as it was in the previous days. I thought I will be active but my exams kept me so busy that I couldn't post earlier. Although I made this project during my exam but never find the time to post it. Anyways i made this very cute crochet cat.

I made this when I had two preparatory leaves for my exam. I'm so glad that I made in a single day . Not in a single go obviously but I completely it in 2-3 hours. I was so tired of my exams already that I wanted to do something else. I decided to crochet something but I had nothing in my mind. The most difficult part of crochet is finding the inspo for you work, I must say. It took me a good 1 hour to look for the inspiration and I finally found it.

For this I have used basic crochet things. I started off by making the head of the cat. It started by making the MR(magic ring) and doing 6 SC (single crochet) into the magic ring. Then eventually increasing the stitches and gradually decreasing them as well. The head was easy to make as it involved basic crochet techniques and I made it in no time, which I'm very proud of.

Then for the body, it also started the same as head by doing magic ring. But the different thing I learnt during this project was the Base Stitche. As you can see the hands and the paws of the cat are made by doing base stitch. A base stitch is basically doing multiple stitches in the same stitch. For the hands and the paws I made 6 base stitches. It was quite difficult in the starting but once I get used to it, it became easy.

Then my favourite part of the project was to make the head scarf. Honestly speaking the main reason why decided to make this cat was because of this head scarf/hat. It was so cute. Also I made the ears and a little tail of the cat as well. I must say that the most difficult part of crochet is to make small things. I had to undo the ears so many times that I was about to cry 😭😂. But at the end I made it. This was the final look of my cat.

I hope you guys like it. I am so glad that it turned out so well. I showed it to everybody in my family and I even take it to the uni with me as well in the next exam. I wanted to show it to my friends also. They all loved it. It was a great day. If you guys have any suggestions for me do let me in know in the comment box .
