So yesterday I got a crochet order again and they wanted a bow keychain so they sent me a picture and told me to make the bow in pink color but they did not mention the size correctly so I made two different size bows because it was easy to make so for this reason I made two size bows so that my customer could pick and they picked the small one. So now let’s start making it.

Materials needed

To make the bow keychain the things we need are these.
2.5mm hook
Pink color yarn
Needle
Keychain ring
That’s it to make this bow keychain we only need these 4 things.

Making the small bow

So first I made the small bow. So to make it I took pink color yarn then I made 42 chains with it. Then in the next row skip 2 chains and in the remaining 40 chains make half double crochet. Meaning we should have a total of 40 half double crochet. So now in the next row do the same make 40 half double crochet. Now in the next 2 rows also make 40 half double crochet we will have a total of 4 rows. And remember to work only on front loops not on back loops. And when the row ends make 2 chains and start the next row. So now we will have one strip now we need one more strip but shorter than this one.

Small strip

So now let’s make another strip a little smaller than that one. Now again take the same pink color yarn and make 37 chains. Now in the next row skip 2 chains and after that make 35 half double crochet now make 2 chains and in the next row make 35 half double crochet only in the front loops now again make 2 chains and in the remaining 2 rows do the same (chain 2, 35 half double crochet only on front loops).

Assembling the small bow

Now join the head of the bigger strip to its tail then wrap yarn around its center so that it forms like a bow. Now join the small strip also with the center of the bigger strip using yarn. Now our bow will be made but to cover the center part we have to make a mini strip so that it does not look bad. So to make this one make 12 chains and in the next row make 10 single stitches. Now make 1 chain and in the next row again make 10 single stitches then attach it to the center of the bow and stitch it with the help of a needle.

Making the bigger bow

So like this our small bow is ready now let’s make the bigger one. So to make the bigger one we also need 2 strips one a little big and the other a little small. To make the big one we need to make 62 chains and skip 2 chains and make 60 half double crochet now the same like the previous bow make 2 chains and in the next row make 60 half double crochet only in the front loops but this time we will make 5 rows not 4 rows like last time.

Making the small strip

Now to make the small strip make 42 chains and skip 2 chains and make 40 half double crochet and again make 2 chains and make 40 half double crochet only in the front loops and do this for a total of 3 rows and our small strip is also ready.

Assembling the big bow

Now assemble this in the same way as the small bow and for the center part this time make 15 chains and make single stitches for 2 rows. Now attach this to the center of the bow. Now in the end attach the keychain ring on both bows.
