RE: How to finish two wips in one week - needleworkmonday wip challenge

I’m with @jicrochet in that I knew your post would tickle us. You have such a fun and humorous way of telling your stories.

This initiated the first box-sleeping period for the hexagon jacket.

Oh gosh I cracked up on this one. Sleeping period 🤣!! We are the community known for putting our projects to sleep lol.

Let me say congrats on being accepted to the museum but I too am curious as to why the restriction. I wonder if they will explain that further to you.

I think you have a good plan here. That purple is so pretty and I can imagine how pretty the shawl will be. Hang in there, I believe in you and know that you will meet your goal!

Thanks for participating ~

Ohnooo after reading my own words again, I notice it sounds as if i kill my wips 😱😂 I immediately had this story in my mind of secret services knocking at the doors of needleworkmonday members because they are society which „puts things to sleep“. Lets hope we never attract attention in this way :-DDDD

And thank you so much for the congrats, I am also really happy, as I think it will be a good opportunity to network (which I find really hard and i need to work on such skills). But I fear there will come no conclusion to the fabric/garment ban. Juries over here seldom explain their regulations… which is a shame, because so it stays guesswork on the side of the artists what to change/make better.
Perhaps the asses textile art or fashion as lesser art…? I really have no idea.

Hahaha hilarious! Oh dear, we definitely don’t want secret service snooping around and messing with our community. 🤭

That is really sad. You’re right, how would one know what to change and how to improve according to their standards? I honestly hope their procedures with this improves.
