Me encanta compartir cada uno de los proyectos que realizo, a veces con tutorial 😀 a veces solo comentando o relatando las anécdotas del proceso. En esta oportunidad quiero contarles que al fin 😂 pude tejer mi primer Snoopy. Antes lo había realizado con telas y también con masa flexible, pero esta es la primera vez que lo tejo. La verdad es que la experiencia fue estupenda. El único detalle presentado fue que, como todos los demás amigurumis de color blanco, 🤍 durante el proceso de su elaboración tuve que tener mucho cuidado de no ensuciarlo. El resultado me encantó. Espero que a ustedes también le guste.

I love to share each of the projects I do, sometimes with tutorial 😀 sometimes just commenting or telling the anecdotes of the process. This time I want to tell you that finally 😂 I was able to knit my first Snoopy. Before I had made it with fabrics and also with flexible dough, but this is the first time I knit it. The truth is that the experience was great. The only detail presented was that, like all the other white amigurumis, 🤍 during the process of its elaboration I had to be very careful not to get it dirty. I loved the result. I hope you like it too.

Para tejer este lindo amigurumi utilicé estambre escolar; es un hilo acrílico más o menos grueso, como de 2mm. Tejí con un gancho de 2,50mm. Usé también aguja lanera, tijeras y algodón para rellenar.

To knit this cute amigurumi I used school yarn; it is a more or less thick acrylic yarn, about 2mm. I knitted it with a 2.50mm hook. I also used a knitting needle, scissors and cotton for stuffing.

🐶 Empecé tejiendo la cabeza. Es un tejido básico, solo que para darle la forma hay que seguir una secuencia de puntos. Yo elegí un patrón bastante sencillo porque la verdad es que no hay por qué complicarse, esta es una figura muy popular, con tan solo lograr la figura y usar el hilo color blanco 🤍 ya será reconocido.

🐶 I started by knitting the head. It is a basic knitting, only that to give it the shape you have to follow a sequence of stitches. I chose a fairly simple pattern because the truth is that there is no need to complicate, this is a very popular figure, just by achieving the figure and using the white color yarn 🤍 it will already be recognized.

🐶 Después tejí el cuerpo de Snoopy. Como ven se teje en forma de pera 🍐. Estas dos piezas son las más trabajadas porque hay que lograr la forma. Se logra haciendo aumentos y disminuciones. Hacer patrones tiene sus complejidad, solo hay que tener paciencia 😌 e ir anotando (cosa que yo no hice). Confieso que antes de empezar a tejer vi muchos tutoriales de tejedoras expertas tejiendo todo tipo de amigurumi. Algunas dejan tips a medida que tejen, otras se limitan a decirte cada secuencia del patrón y ya.

🐶 Then I knitted the body of Snoopy. As you can see it is knitted in a pear shape 🍐. These two pieces are the most worked because you have to achieve the shape. It is achieved by making increases and decreases. Making patterns has its complexity, you just have to have patience 😌 and to be writing down (which I don't enjoy). I confess that before I started knitting I watched many tutorials of expert knitters knitting all kinds of amigurumi. Some of them leave tips as they knit, others just tell you each sequence of the pattern and that's it.

🐶 Una vez que acerqué las dos piezas me di cuenta de haber logrado la forma. Destejiendo como dos veces, pero sí pude.

Recuerdo que cuando empecé a tejer amigirumis no tenía INTERNET. Me iba a donde mi hermana y descargaba algunos patrones. Después los veía muchas veces hasta creer que podía hacerlo sin tutorial. Aprendí justamente lo básico. Hoy me doy cuenta que hay muchas diseñadoras que solo usando puntos básicos han realizado hermosas creaciones, sin enrollarse. Ellas explican que con la regla del 6 o del 8 se crean infinidades de patrones. También aprendiendo a tejer cuerpos base y adaptando el cuerpo de uno se tejen otros. Todo eso yo no lo sabía hasta ahora.

I remember when I started knitting amigirumis I didn't have the INTERNET. I would go to my sister's and download some patterns. Then I watched them many times until I thought I could do it without a tutorial. I learned just the basics. Today I realize that there are many designers who just by using basic stitches have made beautiful creations, without any fuss. They explain that with the rule of 6 or 8 an infinite number of patterns can be created. Also, by learning to knit base bodies and adapting one's own body, other bodies can be knitted. I didn't know all this until now.

🐶 Tejer bracitos, orejas y patas suele ser sencillo, siempre y cuando las figuras no requieran de hacer formas más específicas. Estoy contenta con todo lo que he avanzado, aunque siempre he creado amigurumis propios, antes no anotaba nada y pues eso se perdió, pero por aquí tengo todavía algunos de los amigurumis que tejí sin seguir tutorial. La primera que me inspiró fue mi nieta, a ella le tejí su propia muñeca, ví una foto de ella y la recreé en el tejido. Estaba muy pequeña todavía.

🐶 Knitting little arms, ears and legs is usually easy, as long as the figures don't require more specific shapes. I'm happy with all the progress I've made, although I've always created my own amigurumis, before I didn't write anything down and that was lost, but here I still have some of the amigurumis I knitted without following a tutorial. The first one that inspired me was my granddaughter, I knitted her own doll, I saw a picture of her and I recreated her in the fabric. She was still very little.

🐶 Lo que todavía veo muy difícil es bordar ojos y detalles del rostro. Eso sí que es un verdadero arte. Pocas veces me he atrevido a hacerlo porque me da miedo dañar el tejido. Se puede practicar aparte con otros materiales, pero no me he puesto. Menos mal que el Snoopy no requiere de gran experiencia 😄

🐶 What I still find very difficult is to embroider eyes and face details. That is a real art. Few I have dared to do it because I'm afraid of damaging the fabric. It can be practiced separately with other materials, but I haven't gotten around to it. Good thing the Snoopy doesn't require a lot of experience 😄.

🐶 Tejí todas las demás partes sin mayor dificultad, siempre midiendo y comprobando que se ajusten al tamaño del cuerpo. Las patas si fueron un poco más complejas y tuve que ayudarme de un vídeo, pero se logró tejer al tamaño necesario.

🐶 I knitted all the other parts without much difficulty, always measuring and checking that they fit the size of the body. The legs if were a little more complex and I had to help me from a video, but managed to weave to the necessary size.

A muchas tejedoras no les gusta coser, a mí me encanta porque es el momento de la verdad 😂 ir juntando cada pieza, disfrutar del proceso al ver formada la figura del amigirumi es todo un espectáculo. Sigo aprendiendo porque el trabajo no me queda tan bonito, pero me siento feliz cada vez que termino uno. Este Snoopy me quedó muy lindo. Ponerle la manchita de la nariz me costó un poco, se la puse muy arriba y tuve que descoser. Ando pensando comprar narices de colores, negras y marrones para evitar estos menesteres 😁

Many knitters don't like to sew, I love it because it's the moment of truth 😂 putting each piece together, enjoying the process and seeing the amigirumi figure formed is a spectacle. I'm still learning because the work doesn't look as nice, but I feel happy every time I finish one. This Snoopy is very cute. Putting the little spot on his nose was a little difficult, I put it too high and had to unpick it. I'm thinking of buying colored noses, black and brown to avoid this 😁.
