[ENG-ESP] Flower Embroidery - Flor en Bordado

Hi guys!

I had a long time without being able to practice my embroidery because I recently moved and my embroidery stuff got lost in the process… So I lost needles, embroidery hoops, threads, patterns, charcoal sheets. I was left with nothing and the truth is that I have not had any time to go to the store to replace them.

Only one hoop survived, a huge one! which is bigger than any fabric I have hahaha. I didn't have a suitable fabric either, the closest thing to it is a white shirting fabric of which I had scraps left. In fact, there were only a few pieces left of the necks they were experimenting with. So I cut off the part that didn't have adhesive backing and used it. It obviously didn't fit all the way into the rim, but I made it work.

Tenía mucho tiempo sin poder practicar mi bordado porque me mude hace poco y mis cosas de bordado se extraviaron en el proceso… Así que perdí agujas, aros de bordados, hilos, diseños, hojas de carbón. Me quede sin nada y la verdad es que no he tenido nada de tiempo para ir a la tienda para reponerlas.
Solo sobrevivieron un aro ¡enorme! que es mas grande que cualquier tela que tengo hahaha. Tampoco tenia una tela adecuada, lo que más se le acercaba es una tela de camisería blanca de la que me quedaban retazos. De hecho, solo quedaban unas piezas de cuellos con los que estaban experimentando. Así que corte la parte que no tenía entretela con adhesivo y la use. Evidentemente no entraba por completo en el aro, pero lo hice funcionar.

Since I didn't have carbon paper which is what I used to copy the design onto the fabric, I copied directly with a 6B drawing pencil from an adult anti-stress drawing book. Only a portion of the drawing though because my skills are beyond rusty.

Como no tenia papel carbón que es lo que utilizó para copiar el diseño en la tela, copie directamente con un lápiz de dibujo 6B de un libro de dibujo antiestrés para adultos. Aunque solo una porción del dibujo porque mis habilidades están más que oxidadas.

The truth is that my intention was to embroider everything with the Satin Stitch but in some parts I invented a stitch that I have no idea where I saw it or what it is called.

La verdad es que mi intención era bordar todo con el Punto Satín pero en unas partes me inventé un punto que ni idea de donde lo vi ni como se llama.

As you can see, the colors don't make sense because they were the only ones I had left and no idea how they survived the instrument escape.

Como podrán ver, los colores no tienen sentido porque eran los únicos que me quedaban y ni idea de como sobrevivieron a la escapada de instrumentos.
