Last week I posted a a post with another of my embroideries and today I spend my Saturday embroidering in the window. There is no better way to spend a boring Saturday hehe.

La semana pasada publique un post con otro de mis bordados, y hoy pase mi sabado bordando en la ventana. No hay mejor manera de pasar un sábado aburrido jeje.

A veces me preguntan de donde saco los diseños que bordo, bueno realmente mi primera opción es Pinterest pero otra opción es esta.

I usually buy coloring books. Yes, I know I am an adult now but they are very relaxing. I recommend them to anyone who suffers from a little stress. A while coloring while having a coffee, is the best.

Suelo comprar libros de colorear. Sí, ya se que ya soy una adulta pero son muy relajantes. Se los recomiendo a cualquiera que sufra un poco de estres. Un rato coloreando mientras se toma un café, es lo mejor.

Back on topic... I usually get ideas from these books, trace them on a sheet of paper and then transfer them to the fabric with carbon paper. Don't be afraid to use carbon paper. It does not stain the fabric, that is then washed and nothing happens.

Volviendo al tema... Suelo sacar ideas de estos libros, los calco en una hoja de papel y luego los paso a la tela con papel carbón. No tengan miedo de usar papel carbón. No mancha la tela, eso luego se lava y no pasa nada.

I chose to do it with "unnatural" colors (the leaves are neither purple, fuchsia, gray), because I didn't have any other colors lol and so I didn't really choose.

Escogí hacerlo con colores "no naturales" (las hojas no son ni moradas, fucsia, grises), porque no tenía otros colores jajaja y así que realmente no escogí.

I started with the purple leaf. I chose a very nice Satin Stitch, I love how it looks because it looks so delicate despite how easy it is.

Empecé con la hoja morada. Escogi un Punto Saten muy lindo, me encanta como queda porque se ve tan delicado a pesar de lo fácil que es.

Then I continued with the gray. But I really have no idea what kind of stitch this is but it didn't work out lol. In fact all the little leaves are all different. But I still liked how everything turned out.

Luego seguí con la gris. Pero realmente no tengo idea de que tipo de puntada es esta pero no me salio jajaja. De hecho todas las pequeñas hojitas son todas diferentes. Pero igual me gustó como quedo todo.

Fuchsia followed. Use a Fly Stitch. The only thing is that the Fly Stitch to look as it should, the thread to use has to have more strands, I almost use 3 strands (in all the stitches I used 3 strands), so the stitch of the middle of the sheet.

Le siguio la fucsia. Use un Punto de Mosca. Lo único es que el Punto de Mosca para que se vea como debe, el hilo a usar tiene que tener más hebras, yo casi uso 3 hebras (en todas las puntadas usé 3 hebras), por lo que no se nota mucho la puntada del medio de la hoja.

The green one was my headache. I ran out of thread and had to use a different shade, all the stitches are very different, but except for the gray leaf, it doesn't look that good. But from afar it is hidden hahaha

La verde fue mi dolor de cabeza. Me quedé sin hilo y tuve que usar uno de otro tono, todas las puntadas estan muy diferentes, pero a excepción de la hoja gris, esta no se ve tan bien. Pero de lejos se discimula jajaja
