Crochet heart keychain for my daughter (EN-ES)

Greetings, my dear friends of the community, I hope you are doing very well, with health and well-being.

Although I arrived late for the Needlework Your Valentine!, I didn't want to miss the opportunity to show you what I did to participate and spoil my favorite person on this Valentine's Day.

I learned to knit the basic stitches, at the same time I learned to embroider, thanks to my mother's teachings. I only knitted mats, flowers and hearts for tendrils and bookmarks. I had never knitted with stuffing as a final finish. Well, to participate in this beautiful contest, I wanted to do something different and I got to work with the materials I had at home.

A purple worsted yarn with shiny threads, thread cutters and a marker that I bought because I saw in the video that I used as a guide, that I was going to need it to weave the heart keychain. This keychain will be for my Sofia Valentina (@sofiaquino98) as a birthday gift.

Aunque llegué tarde para el concurso Needlework Your Valentine!, no quería desaprovechar la oportunidad para mostrarles lo que hice para participar y consentir a mi persona favorita en este día de San Valentín.

Aprendí a tejer los puntos básicos, al mismo tiempo que aprendí a bordar, gracias a las enseñanzas de mi madre. Sólo tejía tapetes, florecitas y corazones para zarcillos y marcapáginas. Jamás había tejido con relleno como acabado final. Pues, para participar en este hermoso concurso, quise hacer algo diferente y me puse manos a las obra con los materiales que tenía en casa.

Un hilo de estambre color púrpura con hilos brillantes, cortahilos y marcador que compré porque vi en el vídeo que me sirvió de guía, que lo iba a necesitar para tejer el llavero de corazón. Este llavero será para mi Sofía Valentina (@sofiaquino98) como regalo de onomástico.

I'm not going to show you here the step by step of the stitches, most of them are single crochet stitches and I used a 3mm needle to knit them. The video explains it very well and if you want to do it, just follow what the girl teaches us to the letter. I have to tell you that after watching several videos, this was the one I understood the best and as I said above, it served as a guide. Also, I have to say that it was a challenge for me to do it, I knitted and unknitted several times, but I did not give up and continued. Besides, I have the desire to continue knitting and I already have another project that I will share with you in the next few days.

I stuffed the heart, put a keychain on it and made a tassel to add a detail. I liked it, now I want to give it to my daughter as a gift for her keys.

What did you think? I loved it and I can confirm, once again, that I greatly enjoy this world of needles and threads. It relaxes me deeply and fills me with inspiration.

No les voy a indicar aquí el paso a paso de las puntadas que en su mayoría son puntos bajos y para tejerlos usé una aguja de 3mm. En el vídeo se explica muy bien y si quieren hacerlo, basta con seguir al pie de la letra lo que la chica nos enseña. Les cuento que luego de ver varios vídeos, este fue el que mejor entendí y como les dije arriba, me sirvió de guía. También, tengo que decir que para mí fue todo un reto hacerlo, tejí y destejí en varias oportunidades, pero no me rendí y seguí. Además, me han quedado las ganas de seguir tejiendo y ya tengo otro proyecto que les compartiré en estos días.

Rellené el corazón, le puse un llavero y le hice una borla para agregarle un detalle. Me gustó, ahora ya quiero entregárselo a mi hija como obsequio para sus llaves.
