How's is it going? Over here in my country many fashion designers are so busy with many projects because of the festive period.

I'm also happy to be very busy with lots of projects. Starting with this beautiful maxi dress I made recently.

The beautiful thing about this dress is that, it's not just elegant, it's also stylish.

It has an inner corset to make the waist look snatched.

Walk with me while I explain the pattern on my work table.

The pattern on my table are the pieces of each of the outfit to make a complete dress.

It has a cut on the under bust and on the waist as well.

From the under bust, it has gathers and on the waist too as seen on Tuesday pattern.

I transferred onto the fabric as seen here as well.

Here's the full upper bodice, both front and back.

Moving onto the inner corset. I snatched her waist by 2inches which is 0.5 each on the waist.

To make the dress very comfortable, I added Rigilene bonning only on the part where I attached the eyelet to give it structure.

And then I marked the part where I used soldering iron to create the hole for fixing the eyelet.

Here I've fixed the golden eyelet and it's looking so beautiful already.

I attached the rope for cinching the waist here as well.

I placed the under bust to the waist to see how it will look when I'm done.

I went straight to machine to join each piece together to make the complete fit and here's what it looks like.

Here's the back view. The back has a zipper and inbuilt corset. Sleek! Nobody's gonna know.

My client will be coming in for fittings tomorrow and I can't wait to see how it will look like on her.

The drafting, cutting and sewing g took me six hours to complete. I'm that focused haha.
