Pelicans 🐦

in WE ARE MOVING3 years ago

This is one of my favorite animals. Pelicans are some of the largest birds that exist, they are aquatic and they feed by fishing, which has been a bit conflicting for men who are engaged in the same, since they are considered "thieves" of their fishes. You'd have to ask yourself who the thief really is, right? But that is a long topic for another time.

They are truly wonderful animals. They live in warm areas, fish in the seas, and unfortunately their population has declined considerably due to the destruction of their habitats. They are animals that can live 25 years in freedom. One of the most common stories of pelicans is that when they reach an advanced age, they are blinded by the saltpetre of the sea, which at some point crash against a mountain or starve to not be able to fish anymore. It sounds ugly for us, but it's nature doing theirs, really sad is that they die earlier for other causes in which humans are involved.

Sorry if photos don't have good resolution, but these are old, and although there are many beautiful photos online, I prefer to share mine with you because these are valuable to me. I hope you like it...
