I found this beetle in the rice fields, with six legs he perched on the wild grass with his strong claws gripping, occasionally his body swaying to the rhythm of the weeds in the wind.
He is very shy, his slow movements sometimes make him not escape the attacks of predators, camouflage can sometimes outwit predators sometimes he hides behind the leaves to stay alive.
Look at how this creature looks, very unique, I took a picture with a macro lens, if you are not observant you will not be able to see it, if he is disturbed by our presence, he on purpose falls into the grass, the small size of his body makes himself easily disappear.
Taking experience some time ago with this beetle, I was very careful in the photo session, friendly with him by not disturbing him is the best way to get good photos, the most interesting thing about this beetle is its long snout, it looks very unique.
During the rainy season as it is today, it is very easy to take pictures of insects whose wings are sometimes still wet making them have to stay silent on the grass and twigs, we can freely take pictures of them, and this also applies to other insects for this rainy season.
Those who have been born alive in the wild, are used to the harshness of nature, both hot sun and rain, and the weevils do just that, when the sun is hot they hide behind the leaves slightly to escape the heat of the sun.
