Hi friends
Today tree day I present this
With its big warts.
This one at the foot of the pond is an old tree that is distinguished from the others by its tumors, gall or neck tumor.
I have been researching and they say it is an Agrobacterium tumefaciens bacteria.
They say that this bacterium is more active in spring and summer and the truth is that it can be.
I observe it every week, I like its texture, it is interesting for photography, to see how the bark opens and lets the wood come out in different ways.
This season his warts are more intense in color, almost turning red, we see it and we have always believed that it is not normal, but had never delved into the causes.
This begins with a wound on the trunk, where the bacteria begin to take over the tree.
They say that it does not hinder their life or their growth BUT WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT WHAT THE TREE FEELS?
If it came out to us, we would call it warts or cancer that would have to be operated on and removed.
He continues his life, growing and shading in summer and undressing in winter, seeing how people walk at his feet, how we observe him and wonder what is wrong with him.
I have taken a lot of macro photos to appreciate the texture, the strange shapes of its wood.
If you don't say what it is, its strange shapes could be the landscape of an area on another planet full of mountains and valleys.
Nature is amazing and she like us has diseases so take care of her she is the only one we have.

Es impresionante ver como todo en la vida tiene su contrapunto, donde la propia Naturaleza es juez y parte para mantener un necesario equilibrio. Magníficas e interesantes fotografías. Feliz día

I wonder if a tree doctor would recommend an operation to remove the cancer/wart? If it would be better for the tree... 🤔 Happy Tuesday, my friend! 😘
hello pretty because the truth is that I do not know. but that gives it character and distinguishes it from other trees
