Exploring the ancient French church in Ba Vi National Park, Hanoi, Vietnam

in WE ARE MOVING2 years ago (edited)

Hello guys, how are you today? Hanoi is in the most beautiful late autumn days. The sky is clear blue and the golden sun shines everywhere. These are truly the best days of the year. 2 weeks ago I had a trip to Ba Vi and visited an old French church with unspoiled beauty and mystery. Let's explore this church with me in today's post

Ba Vi is a district of Hanoi, 50 km from the city center and takes about 1 hour to travel. It is the ideal place for Hanoians if they want to find a fresh place, away from the city's smog. Ba Vi is famous for Ba Vi National Park, Ao Vua scenic spot, Cultural Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups, etc. . . And I chose Ba Vi National Park for my wonderful day off

Tickets to Ba Vi National Park are 60,000 VND (2$) and there's a lot you can explore there. The pine forest, Uncle Ho's temple or Thuong Temple I have explored many times, and this time I found a new place that is less known in the national park complex: the ancient French stone church.

In the early 20th century, when the French came to Vietnam, they built a few churches. And the church in Ba Vi National Park is a French work. However, there is currently no information on the builder or the exact year of the church when it was completed.

The church is quite old and now abandoned. It is built of solid stone. The church is located in the middle of a large forest, creating a mysterious and wild look. Trees grow in clusters on the roof of the church.

In the morning, the sunlight shines on each wall, creating the beauty of the statue. This old French church is visited by many couples to take wedding photos. Ba Vi is also famous for wild sunflowers (quite like sunflowers). It blooms in November and December, making Ba Vi poetic and full of yellow

On weekends, young people or families often choose Ba Vi as a picnic place because it is quite cool and has many trees. Here people can rent tents for camping, BBQ and climbing. However, before leaving, everyone is also very conscious of cleaning up garbage to keep the environment clean.

Thank you so much for reading my post today. Let's go out on a beautiful day to harmonize in nature. Wish you have a day full of happiness
