I come from a city called Bangalore, There is nothing you cannot get here. Everything is too much here, trust me.
With all the chaos comes to trash. Trash that never leaves. The main city gets cleaned every day without fail but the outskirts remain the same. If you dump a piece of plastic it will stay there forever. When we understood this we started the monthly Cleanup Yatra.

In the coming week, we are having a clean-up drive, to turn one of the ancient sites and its vicinity into a plastic-free zone.

We see clean-up drives almost every now and then, right? But what's this cleanup "YATRA" one may ask,

To make it easy and interesting for the volunteers joining us we pick the most secluded areas that very few people know about. Once we are done with the clean-up drive we take the volunteers on a trek into the forests and conduct a guided meditation session at the best place and view we can find. It is important that our volunteers not just clean up the place but also enjoy helping mother nature. We want them to connect with mother earth and take back the feeling of union with her. So the next time it becomes a part of their subconscious to not litter and let another litter.

People point to trees and call it nature, but most often forget that the pointer itself is a part of nature and this gap between understanding is what causes most of our problems.

All the required materials food & water will be supplied by us. Our intention to keep the volunteers happy is to ** have them with us once again**, coz we know we need as many people as we can get to do the things that we do.

If you know anyone from Bangalore please share this with them.
