EDELCA significa ELECTRIFICACION DEL CARONI. Es una empresa que comienza en la GRAN SABANA en un río llamado CARONI. Este se forma por las lluvias que caen en esa gran selva venezolana, de allí se forman decenas de riachuelos. Los cuales forman ese río tan importante. En el recorrido el caroni es represado por cuatro represas.

EDELCA stands for ELECTRIFICACION DEL CARONI. It is a company that begins in the GRAN SABANA in a river called CARONI. This river is formed by the rains that fall in that great Venezuelan jungle, from there dozens of streams are formed. Which form this important river. Along the way the Caroni is dammed by four dams.

La llovisna en el parque se acentua en invierno porque la represa tiene que aliviar agua por su desague. Se llama parque la llovisna por que al salir el agua pasa por piedras a cierta altura que cae en cascada y se forma la lluvia que entra en el parque. Creanme se moja uno bastatnte. Como si fuese una lluvia suave. Me han dicho que el parque ya no es igual. Tanto con el mantenimiemto como la seguridad dentro del parque. Yo de mi parte prefiero recordarlo hermoso como cuando fui hace 3 años. Hermoso gracias a EDELCA quien era la que lo mantenia.

The rainfall in the park is accentuated in winter because the dam has to relieve water through its drainage. It is called rainforest park because when the water comes out the water passes through stones at a certain height that falls in a cascade and forms the rain that enters the park. Believe me, it gets quite wet. As if it were a gentle rain. I have been told that the park is no longer the same. Both with the maintenance and the security inside the park. I for one prefer to remember it as beautiful as when I went 3 years ago. Beautiful thanks to EDELCA who was the maintainer.
