RE: Story of a Butterfly.

in WE ARE MOVING3 years ago

We have a lot of cabbage butterflies here and I need to protect my brassica crops with row covers or they will be filled with worms from the Cabbage butterfly chewing away through the leaves.
They are quite a beautiful butterfly up close and once I have my crops protected I love to watch them.
Lovely shots!

Oh yes, they have invaded most countries and many farmers suffer damages from them.
But yes, I always look at the beautiful side of things and I also love to watch them.
We have another large white butterfly here (I forget the name) and they breed here.
Every year they migrate in huge flocks to Madagascar and it is amazing to watch the clouds of white butterfies flying over.

Blessings!

That would be amazing! Hopefully you'll get some photos of them. We don't get anything like that. The monarch butterflies don't come this far north and that is the only butterfly in Canada that I know migrates - amazing creatures!

We have a wide range of butterfly species here and they travel all over most of the African continent's southern parts.
When I see the migration in action I will do a post on it for sure.

Thank you and stay blessed.
