Good day community

On the path that leads through a shady area of the Parque de el Príncipe in the city of Cáceres I found these wonderful flowers that immediately captured my attention. There were several plants and you can see that they were in different stages, some were already withered, ready after pollination and almost with the seeds ready. Others, on the other hand, were in full swing and it was where I stopped to take more images. The partial shade and the rays of light helped me to get these spectacular images of these salmon-colored flowers.

Like a cat I slipped through the gloom of that space. It seemed to me that those beautiful plants could only live in this type of habitat, with a small nearby stream and high humidity. These plants are bulbous and appear in these spaces, half shady but illuminated at times by the intense sunlight of the month of August.

Probably the best way to get good photos in these types of spaces is to choose the right time of day. Kneeling, almost at the height of the flowers or even lying down. Sometimes this is the key to taking a good image depending on the object to be photographed. Always get up to them depending on the type of object, animal or person it is. In this case I put myself almost lying down since these plants do not lift too much from the ground. The terrain was somewhat damp due to the proximity of the water, but when I go to these places I usually go prepared, with appropriate clothing to go into action and not care about the situation or the means by which I move.

The way of editing the images has special personal characteristics, I use different tools to create. I like to work with light and shadow, with lighting and contrast. I also try to dimension the size that seems ideal to me and I try to respect some photographic norms. Other times this does not happen and I usually break those rules because it is what I am looking for. I hope you like them and I send greetings from this area of Extremadura in Spain, friends.

@oscarps Cuatro selecciones de agosto

The colors and lighting are good! Very sharp and vivid colors :D

I usually play in photo editing with precisely that. Dodge and Burn, paint with light and shadows, turn on and burn. Greetings @hiddenblade. Thank you for your comment and visit.
