My mother is fond of plants. She has a lot of plants in our home, and she takes good care of them. Whenever she sees a plant from our neighbor or her friends, she directly asks for some parts of it and plants it in our home.

She doesn't allow anyone to go near her plants or to touch them slightly because she's afraid that if we step on them that might affect their growth. She taught us how to water the plants properly. For her, having plants gives her happiness and relaxation.

There was a time when she decided to check on her plants, growing beautifully. She looked at each one to ensure that her plants are healthy and received enough sunlight.

My mother was happy seeing her plants blooming beautifully with a smooth fragrance.

A few minutes ago, she noticed that there was one plant that didn't grow, and the leaves are full of bite marks.

She looked at each leaf to see if there was an insect over there until one and insect suddenly showed up. My mother was shocked and screamed. She called me and said, "Kill it! Kill it!" I didn't know what I should kill.

So, I rushed to go there, and when I looked into the leaves, I was surprised and amazed by what I saw. It was a beautiful and lovely worm. I've never seen a worm like that, and I don't know what kind of worm it is. Their faces are so lovely that you cannot even be afraid to touch them, and also the body was so soft to touch.

My mother quickly told me to get rid of the worm in her plants. My mother is afraid of worms, even a small one.

So, I gently removed the worm from the plant but I didn't kill it instead I put it in another place in the plants where they can live and eat leaves freely, and also, I can observe how they turn or transform into a beautiful butterfly.

Sort:

It's a Hawk moth catepillar of some kind I guess. There were quite a many online that I found similar, but not one quite the same. The ones that came even close to these were the Elephant Hawk Moth (Deilepila elpenor, Deilepila porcellus), and Green Hawk Moth (Daphnis nerii).

Thank you, it was fun to go on this adventure. 😀

I'm afraid of worms just like your mother but thankyou for saving & finding new place for them instead of killing those worms.😅Have a great Day ahead!💗

They're super cute! I tried searching a bit to try and find out what kind of butterfly or moth they become but I couldn't find it. They look like they have little elephant noses. 😊
