Beautiful River in the Village that makes me wounded.

The past two weeks have been two full sad weeks in my life after 4 years ago I lost my father in a sudden heart attack and November 3, 2022, which coincides with Saturday, I also have to let my mother go to leave this world after several years of having to often back and forth from the hospital for treatment.

And this week is my first outing after my body is tired enough to take care of all the funeral processions, I need a vacation even though this time it's not too far from where I live. Even though it is the rainy season, I will still choose to go on vacation to the river area to refresh my mind and body, the river we visited is not too big and is a source of life for the local villagers. The journey from my city to this village takes 45 minutes by road using a two-wheeled vehicle and the average speed we use is 60 km/hour.

The river in Namutasi village was originally the cleanest river that ever existed in this village, the local residents used this river water for bathing, washing clothes, washing dishes and bathing their livestock, and not infrequently we will find various kinds of fish swimming there. come here very comfortably, a few years ago all of this was still very real and it hasn't even disappeared from my memory, but not now where I see a lot of trash scattered about what I see is plastic waste which is the daily trash of local residents, they don't throw the plastic waste into the trash can with the reason that the garbage will be dragged away by the river currents. Can you imagine such a thought?

Actually this river is very beautiful. There are wild flowers that grow on the banks of the river with natural fragrance without artificial perfume, this wild flower does not grow just a single stem, but fills the left and right sides of the river with its yellow flowers and the smell of grass that I can't avoid, all of them gathered into one pierced my nose, a rare scent that I had never encountered in my city with the noise of motor vehicles and slightly disturbing factory noises.

Even though there is a lot of plastic waste scattered around the river, this river is still very suitable for bathing there, the large rocks in the river make the river very exotic not only in my eyes but also in the eyes of my android camera. This pile of plastic waste did not prevent us from being able to enjoy this view, because this garbage only piled up in one place. What is clear is that this place is very beautiful to be enjoyed even in a simple way.

Although this river is very beautiful and has clear water, but in the future, hopefully this pile of organic and non-organic waste will become the attention of the officials in the area to be able to educate the public on the importance of preserving nature and maintaining the balance of nature, a beautiful river. This should be beautified again with a natural polish, not that we are damaged by wrong thoughts and actions.
