Bee Butts for Sad Days

Today did not have a happy start 😔.

I haven't written anything for several days, mostly because I've been nursing Headache-Attack-5000; but today I thought, maybe someone else needs to see these pics, the ones that always make me feel a bit better on the not-so-great days.

First off, for some background, I am a major animal lover. My number one creatures are cats, I love every little thing about them (perhaps because I relate so well to them 🤷‍♀?). There are a serious number of stray cats here on the island, and I try my best to feed them when I can, I have several that come by my house daily for a snack and a rest. A couple of weeks ago I managed to save an abandoned kitty and find him a wonderful new home. But this morning...I wasn't so lucky. This morning's rescue kitty, left behind by his momma, didn't make it. I tried my very best but she died in my arms. My solace is that at least she wasn't alone and in her final hours she was very loved.
We buried her in a special little spot in the garden (photo above), her name was Twinkle. A little ginger girl.

After a bit of a cry down at the beach, I decided I needed to do something to make myself feel better - when I remembered: BEE BUTTS.

I follow several (and by that I mean many) Facebook and Instagram pages dedicated to animals, one of my favourites being "World of Creatures". And recently, this absolute treasure popped up:

I've tried to Google Image search this photo of a bumblebee booty to find the original poster, but haven't been successful. The link to where I first saw this glorious little photo is here.

It did get me thinking...

...what IF there were more unexpectedly adorable little animal butts out there? Well, I searched, and my efforts did not go unrewarded. Please, BEHOLD:

Just look at those little booties! These little guys have officially been dubbed "Thicc Starfish"; Patrick got BACK, y'all 🤣

This is a little Rain Frog, he likes long walks in the park on rainy days and moonlit picnics.

Do yourself a favour and look up the Hawaiian Happy-Face Spider. This little dude has an actual little emoji for a butt. If that doesn't make you smile, then I dunno..!

And last but not least, although I must add that this is not very unexpected, hamster butts are just the sweetest 🤗:

Last note: During the course of writing this short post, my mood has gone from about a 3 right up to at least an 8. Time after time, the power of nature simply blows my mind. Nature is Amazing 🙌🙌🙌.
