I think I saw it in Baguio but I am not sure since I didn't notice if there is a seed pod.
But we have Banaba tree, somehow quite similar 😁

Oh indeed, quite a similar colour. But I see the Banaba tree has green leaves too and at the moment our jacarandas are just with the flowers. Later the green leaves will grow too
