Spring Flowers with Butterflies

Winter is already way too long in my sensation and I am really looking forward to spring with great anticipation. Probably next month spring will bee here and the sad and cold winter days are gone and live will come back to the flowers, trees, insects, birds and a lot of other interesting animals wake up from their hibernation or are born again after his long winter period. One of these species I await with great anticipation are butterflies with their beautiful colored wings and their "easy" way to fly. One place where I can take pictures of them is the garden of my mother. I also found them where I used to live for 5 years on the outer court of Linz and also on some places in Vienna.

Patrick, a friend from Vienna, is a very good Macro Photographer and I hope he will take me on a trip to some seldom butterflies here in Austria. He studied biology and therefore is able to know and find the feeding plants of the butterflies very well. He also knows where they usually sleep and these are the best spots to take some pictures of them before they are agile and difficult to photograph.

This spring / summer I am definitely visiting the meadows near the forest of a region around Linz where I know that a lot of butterflies live. I hope I will find some beautiful ones and maybe also some new ones that I still didn't photograph yet. We will see in some months.
