Soaking spring rains have resulted in some large and colourful fungi.
I decided to have some fun with this one which I found yesterday.
Unless you get up early it can be hard to find fungi that haven’t had bites taken out for midnight snacks or breakfast.
Happy fungi families.
This mycena interrupta is also known as the Pixie Parasol.
This spider appeared to be ready to argue with this Stinkhorn.
Pretty in pink – or is it lavender?
This pond algae was too impressive to leave out even if I was looking for fungi.
This is such a glooooorious post, dear @exoexplorer !! I adore mushroom photographs, and these are spectacular - what incredible mycology you have in your part of the world!! Is the last photo taken with some kind of magnification, or just regular lens? I shared this post in the Fungi Lovers Community, as I'm sure it'll be of great interest there :-D Blessings!
Wow there’s a few meals in those! All images were taken with my phone @clareartista Thanks for the cross post 🙏🏼 I didn’t realise there was a fungi community here. I need to search more carefully - although fungi can be hard to find sometimes 🙂
And delicious meals as well from the look of those 😛
