Life at sea: sunrise till sunset

in WE ARE MOVING3 years ago

When I was a kid, my grandfather used to take me to a fishing trip aboard a small boat that can only carry 3-4 person. We usually go for hours cruising and navigating the ocean for a good catch. During these trips, I became fascinated by the experience it brought mainly because I love being in the water. It makes me feel home and at peace.

The best part of being in the sea is when the sun rises, when it sets and everything in between. I don’t know with you, but I could not find any boring parts whenever I find my self in the water.

As the sun rises and you begin to see it’s reflection in the water, the best part of every morning. When the sun begins to set and still mirrored in the water, the best part of every afternoon.

When the Pandemic hits and the world goes on lockdown, it feels like the world, and everything halted. As a traveler and a photo and video enthusiast, I found comfort from my own backyard in getting a good snap and creating a new content.

Mornings and afternoons by the bay are great since you can get an unobstructed view and watch the sun rises and sets. Beyond the bay is where everything amazing happens. You can see people fishing, driving, and cruising with their boats. People who are trying to make a living and support their family with their daily needs and the true life at sea. It happens on the background and while you are watching the sunsets and sunrises.

I always say “Life happens when you are busy making plans” but when you are in the ocean, it is a different story. You don’t make plans in the ocean, you just let it drift you, observe in the background and let the world and mother nature bring life into your eyes.
