Hey nature lovers greetings from Venezuela, I am super excited to share with you this beautiful visit we had in @vida.verde of Sol and Luna, two beautiful birds of prey. These beautiful birds are cared by Mario Brandi, they were rescued, now they are ambassadors of Rapaces Venezolanas and are part of the Garras en el Aire Foundation, which is in charge of protecting and educating about raptors.
We as an environmental organization create alliances to carry out events and this is one of them, for Saturday June 29 we will have an activity in our spaces, as part of the agenda of Bird Watching where you can meet Sun and Moon closely with the important role they play these species in natural ecosystems.
To promote this activity of "Knowing Birds of Prey" we decided to create an attractive audiovisual content that we will publish in our social networks.
Luna; is a cute young and tender owl, who socializes easily with humans. She is a beautiful Barn Owl, her scientific name is Tyto Alba, the female owls are differentiated from the males by those dots that can be seen on her chest, each of her feathers has a small dot that adorns even more her beautiful plumage, she was rescued by a teenager because there are still towns where they sadly believe that the owls are witches and they burn them, Her parents and siblings were being burned, this brave young man managed to rescue this little one and take her home and keep her alive, he fed her with what he had, but they are carnivores and this did not do her any good in her first stage of development so she has a keratin deficiency that since she came into Mario's care he has tried to make up for but it has been difficult.
Sol is an Andapie Sparrowhawk or Harris's Eagle and her scientific name is Parabuteu Unicinctus, this young sparrowhawk was also separated from her family at a very young age so she constantly calls her mother, it is incredible to see the damage that we humans can cause, fortunately there are foundations like Claws in the Air and people like Mario who take care of them and educate to try to raise awareness.
Together with Mario came his nephew Ignacio who lives in Germany and his girlfriend Ivonne who is a nature photographer and being on a visit to Venezuela was fascinated with the amount of colorful and different species that she managed to capture with her lens.

Aves Rapaces Sol y Luna en VIDA VERDE🍃 ENG | ESP🦉 🦅
Hey amantes de la naturaleza saludos desde Venezuela, estoy super emocionada de poder compartir con ustedes esta hermosa visita que tuvimos en @vida.verde de Sol y Luna, dos hermosas aves rapaces. Estás hermosas aves son ciudadas por Mario Brandi, ellas fueron rescatadas, ahora son embajadoras de Rapaces Venezolanas y son parte de la Fundación Garras en el Aire, que se encarga de proteger a las aves rapaces y educar sobre ellas.
Nosotros como organización ambiental creamos alianzas para realizar eventos y esta es una de ellas, para el Sabádo 29 de Junio tendremos una actividad en nuestros espacios, como parte de la agenda de Observación de Aves donde podrán conocer a Sol y a Luna de cerca junto al importante papel que juegan estas especies en los ecosistemas naturales.
Para promocionar está actividad de "Conocer Aves Rapaces " decidimos crear un contenido audiovisual que sea atractivo que publicaremos en nuestras redes sociales
Luna; es una linda joven y tierna lechuza, que socializa facilmente con los humanos. Es una hermosa Lechuza campanario su nombre cientifico es Tyto Alba, las lechuzas hembras se diferencian de los machos por esos puntos que se pueden ver en su pecho , cada una de sus plumas tiene un pequeño punto que adornan aun mas su hermoso prumaje, ella fue rescatada por un adolecente pues aun hay pueblos donde tristemente creen que las lechuzas son brujas y las queman, sus padres y hermanos estaban siendo quemados , este joven valiente logro rescatar a esta pequeña llevarla a casa y mantenerla con vida, el la alimentó con lo que tenia, pero ellas son carnivoras y esto no le hizo bien en su primera etapa de desarrollo por lo que tiene un deficiencia de queratina que desde que llego al cuidado de Mario el tratado de suplir pero se ha hecho dificil.
Sol es una Gavilán Andapie o Aguila de Harris y su nombre cientifico es Parabuteu Unicinctus, esta joven gavilán también fue apartada de su familia a muy temprana edad por lo que llama constantemente a su madre , es increible ver el daño que podemos ocasionar los humanos , afortunadamente hay fundaciones como Garras en el Aire y personas como Mario que cuidad de ellas y educan para tratar de concientizar.
Junto a Mario vino su sobrino Ignacio que vive en Alemania y su novia Ivonne que es fotógrafa de naturaleza y estando de visita en venezuela quedo fascinada con la cantidad de especies coloridas y distintas que logro capturar con su lente.
Como no estar encantados con tanta belleza, espero que algunos Hive Lovers se animen a visitarnos en esta actividad aquí les dejo la información, es importante destacar que todas nuestra actividades son pro fondo Vida Verde, lo mas importante es que aceptamos Hive y HBD.
