Because I just returned from a weekend picnic with my friends, I haven't published a single post in the last several days. Our brother (Minh) owns a plot of land in the Bidoup National Forest in Da Lat, Vietnam. He also exemplifies the current trend of many people fleeing the busy metropolis in search of peace and quiet in the countryside. They are self-sufficient in terms of their economy and subsistence thanks to the crops they farm. Alternatively, they may build a tiny, inexpensive house with minimal facilities on that land to rest a few days a week. We rode our motorcycles from Nha Trang to Long Lanh town (Da Lat), which is around 100 kilometers away. When we held our meeting, it was quite cold. When we had to cross a 29-kilometer pass between the old and high mountains o n the Truong Son range, it was quite cold.
His property now primarily crops coffee, which is a popular commodity in this area. It has a great economic value and is soil and climate tolerant. It has a lot of low slopes, so growing short-term veggies with fresh water from streams and canals is difficult. He created a modest house, around two rooms, that was totally made of wood. It can sleep up to eight people yet is quite modest and tranquil. The circumstances for connecting to the national grid are still weak, and they primarily rely on small-scale solar power sources.
Simply take a walk and take in the fresh air, listening to the birds sing and the amphibians on the riverbank. Excellent music.
The forest pomelo tree, for example, is one of the most stunning free-growing wild fruit plants.
It's absolutely edible, however it has a strong and sweet perfume and a rather acidic flavor. It tastes better when made into a juice with a little sweet sugar. Guests encroached on the cow's free time to enjoy the young and fresh grass, or the cow on the way inquiring.
We wriggled our way through the dense coffee plantations and crawled along the creek to cover the entire area. New coffee trees are only capable of growing once and are already in the process of producing the next harvest. Weeds have spread rapidly beneath the canopy of the trees. They will soon need to be pruned in order to provide nutrients to the main plant. He is currently working on a plan to construct a modest homestay in the heart of that land, near to a camping for family travelers to participate in experiencing activities. Assist them in having a close-to-nature experience without engaging in too many loud activities.
We found a variety of food plants, including fruits, leaves, and tubers. Figs, taro plants, banana trees, and jackfruit, to name a few. More information is needed to satisfy the need to learn about forests and well-adapted survival. moss plants adhering to other plants, wildflowers, or simply the beauty of moss plants clinging to other plants. We brewed coffee next to the stream, where we relaxed and enjoyed a cup of hot coffee. Other eras and experiences in life.
My brother took these photos while flying a panorama drone over the area. It has just green qualities. We stopped by Minh's next-door neighbor's fish ponds on the way back. We wanted to buy a healthy sturgeon for dinner, so we went to the place where they keep healthy sturgeons. For cold evenings when the temperature drops suddenly, try this hot and spicy fish hot pot.
The temperature is quite cold at night, and when the sun comes out at dawn, the surrounding is dense fog, which is quite interesting. I only took the photo when the sunlight was strong enough to penetrate that layer of clouds.
It's the sensation of waking up in a foreign and tranquil area, warming up by a wood fire to make hot cups of tea, and living in a slow and basic way. Perhaps that will be my preferred way of life when I reach middle age.
A comfortable area to rest and relax for a relaxing day. I wish everyone a wonderful weekend.

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)
Yes, I wish I owned such a spacious piece of land when I was young. I can invest as a green and minimalist resort. Where only people and nature become one
Ohh yea I would love the same 😎
How are you dear friend @crazy-bee good afternoon
What a beautiful place you have visited; I love places surrounded by nature
It's good to know that your brother plants coffee on his land, something I've always wanted to incorporate into my garden.
Thank you very much for introducing us to this beautiful place.
enjoy the weekend
Yes I'm fine, thank you
I think such a piece of land should be intercropped with some other plants that would make the garden more interesting.
