Our west-coast winters are mild by Canadian standards, and there's been no snow in the lower elevations this winter. Still that water is cold, and the air nippy at 5 deg C or so. It's not rare to see a few hardy souls out there, braving the elements with determination to enjoy the majesty of life. Preparation and safety are key under these conditions. This dude is on a paddle board, which means he must be getting wet, though the water looks calm. It could also be a dudette. We have some daring dames this side of the coast.
An image of peace and serenity, I love it!
It was beautiful sunset with gentle waves. :)
