It Takes One to Know One

Today is the official market day in our town. I dropped by earlier before I went to the farm to buy "kangkong" (water spinach) for my poultry animals.

Before entering the main market area,I found them along the street, not in the designated place for the vegetables. I chose to buy from them. I asked them if the goods are their own produce. They told me that they were from Aningalan (the summer capital of our province,Antique). So I confirmed that they are farmers and they sell their own produce.

I know the feeling of being a farmer. From seedling, to planting, watering and the process of waiting for the harvest. I chose to buy from them because I know I can get the fresh vegetables from farm directly to the market and the price is affordable and reasonable. We No middleman and the profit is mainly earned by those farmers who worked hard for their produce!!

Let us all support our local farmer's produce!!

This is my 1st time in this community. I hope to be here often. Thank you for taking time to read!

It's me,

Our government should support our local farmers as they are our main source of our food. Who works hard every night and day to protect and support out basic needs. Salute to all our farmers♥️

We cant rely on the government when it comes to agriculture. They are more interested on imports.Haist!
