Hello again one and all,
Another Sunday is upon us and we have four meetings today featuring 26 races to delve into the form books, or otherwise, to find a winner. The Curragh starts us off with 1:50pm race, and also closes out the day with the 6:00pm race. As usual for this blog we are sticking to those whose job it is to provide us with their idea of who is likely to be a winner using their "sometimes" expert knowledge, but as we all know predicting a winner is not an exact science, and yet we still try.
Recap - Saturday, 1st July, 2023
Being the 1st day of the new month, for yesterday's tip we stuck with the leader from June Lee Sobot, whose pick Golden Rules managed a second place finish, half a length behind the winner, taking our recent record to 4 straight loses.

Golden Rules raced steadly in mid-field mid-division, receiving several bumps and baulks around the first circuit. Began making headway with over 3f to go. Urged on 1f out, making a challenge to the leader inside last, kept on well but couldnt get any closer.
Tipsters Standings
The start of the new month and 8 of the 54 tipsters landed a winner and go straight to the top of the table, and initially 8 bets to consider as they all go with a different pick and different races. Two of those have now been declared a non-runner so just six to go with.

Cheeky Extra Bet
New London was a close third place for us yesterday, unfortunately meaning no winning bet on this occassion.
Testing continues with three selections advised today. Two were advised as each way punts in teh same, but at the time of writing Twig has come in from 6-1 to 4-1, which makes each way unprofitable if it only places, so I'm ignoring that one, but still going with the second pick in that race Kinondo Kwetu, a 1pt E/W at odds of 7.00. The third selection is also one of our picks - Jeepydoff Meel - for the main blog above so I'm backing that one with Renegade Racing as well, as a 1pt win at odds of 3.00
