Well Hello There Fellow Hivers
I was on my way home this afternoon and I came to the realization that we often let the smallest of bad things ruin the majority of our lives yet we overlook all the small good things also taking place in our lives.
Why is that?
One bad thing can ruin an entire week, yet one good thing is forgotten before you even go to bed.
Ironic isn't it.
So while scrolling through pictures on my mobile device I gathered a few moments that were joyfull in great ways, you know those small happenings in life that brings you so much joy yet is forgotten so fast.
I found quite a few but I can't share all of them. at-least not in one go!
This was taken on our farm one morning on the way to the old pops, the sun was already out but it just broke the horizon a few minutes earlier. But that wasn't what gave me an excited jolt it was the way the wind was blowing the clouds. The air felt crisp and cold and the day just seemed like it was going to be phenomenal.
BTW I can't even remember how the day turned out but this in it self was so beautiful to see!
I love the serenity of living out of the city, the farm like can however be muddy and wet but it does certainly have a lot more pro's then con's.
Serene and peaceful morning

Another slightly cool and terrifying thing to witness here on the farm is watching the spiders weave their webs. Now I say terrifying because I have absolutely zero love for these eight legs creatures.
We can say with certainty that I am scared shitless by them. Believe me it's not that big of a problem when I know where they are, but let's say you walk around on climb in under something and then all of a sudden you feel a spider crawling over you, boy oh boy I will scream like a real lady screams!
Why do I include this as a joyfull moment then? Well more than often after you get scared shitless by this eight legged creature there is usually a laughter all around the table. I even find myself laughing at myself.
They create moments to remember.
A spider weaving its web or trying to save what's left of it!

Now moments like these with the Betty are plentifull! However that doesn't mean you should stop making "moments" together. Over the weekends me and the Betty usually go for little afternoon walks. More than often just up and down the street, debating over how the neighbours yard looks and this and that. You know make a cup of coffee and stroll down to see who is doing what. (Also we rarely even see anybody outside anymore)
Now when I say outside I don't mean people driving in traffic or the usual jogger doing his workouts, what I mean is you don't see kids playing outside in the mud and rain anymore, you don't even see people sitting outside on the porch drinking coffee or reading a book. There is just none of that left.
Most are mindless drones stuck in-front of flat screens, but who am I to judge? Here I am sitting in-front of a flat screen.
The Betty is somewhat camera shy. 🤗 Although not always.

See this little guy?
He's cute right? Well don't believe that he is actually more of a terror than a terrorist!
Albeit, on that day he was beyond adorable, since winter is approaching fast and the nights are colder I often find him tucked away under the blankets, I know most people would frown upon this BUT not me if the dogger wants to get up in bed next to me so be it!
How can I deny that face anything for that matter!
He really is the most adorable little thing, oh and he can proudly stand on his hind legs and for quite some time actually, especially when he wants a little piece of meat or whatever you might be eating on! Crazy little bugger, naughty as well.
Ruffy the little terror

Laughs now the last thing I am trying to do is brag or show off. But what a pair off boots these are!
When I bought them I was more than skeptical (if that's the right word) I was unsure if I was doing the right thing, like I needed them I really did but I probably didn't need to buy the most expensive pair on the shelf now did I?
Probably not.
But I've never in my life spoiled myself to a genuinely great pair of shoes, never! I am probably allowed to do so at-least once in my life right? (BTW I'll do it again real soon!)
They are so durable and walking in them is like walking on a cloud, not really yeah but it's hella comfortable and even more so at work where I do have to be on my feet up and down every day. So even after buying them they still bring me a ton of joy!
They've darkened now but damn I still have a smile on my face when I clean and give them leather treatment!
And above all else they would last me a lifetime, in a year or so you just replace the inner sole of the boot and you're good to go, buy two more pairs and you'll probably never have to replace the inner's if you switch them up daily.
These boots are made for working
