To what extent does honesty align with fairness? When does telling the truth become unjust?
Are the effects of honesty judged by objective standards, or are they entirely subjective to the situation?
Is it true that honesty ultimately heals and liberates, while deception perpetuates harm and confines us?

The mythical honesty, seen by people as a privilege rather than something natural. It becomes so complicated to speak openly and frankly that sometimes we ourselves are surprised when we try to disguise an interaction. The fact is that being honest takes nothing away from us; as long as things are said with respect, everything is fine. A life dependent on disguising our feelings leads us to falsify our will towards others, putting us at their mercy without necessity or obligation. It is a cycle that evolves and becomes more complex to break with each step.

Honesty is fair, but to what extent? Where is that point of no return? If I had to answer, I would say that it lies in breaking that limit of politeness and respect when we talk to others. Strictly speaking, our honesty is valid as long as we know how to manage our words and emotions. Moments of tension test us, but only we ourselves are responsible for balancing our body and mind and continuing the task at hand.

And when it comes to rules, we only have our own perception, so unique and unmatched, to think whatever we want to think whenever we want to think it. Here lies one of the peculiarities of being honest: not everyone perceives honesty in the same way, thus rendering it abstract yet compelling.
