RE: Proof of nutbaggery

in Reflections2 months ago

Lost in time memories of nutbaggery for sure, plenty misadventures in our youth, we lucky to have lived to tell the tale.

You remind me of my brother trying to scale split pole fence, dangling up there impaled on his testes at public swimming pool. Picky-back down the hill home, phoned my level headed Dad who said bring him to the station (another picky-back down to station) to meet the train. Dad took him straight to hospital five stations further down the line for stitches. Long and the short of it he has a son and daughter, he survived. Enjoyed going back to your story, could not help but smile...

We carry the scars with pride, learning you cannot always avoid some shit we got up to it was a good time. A lot carries on into adulthood when many try hide it under the rug, Oh it's here there and everywhere, champs at getting things wrong and right sometimes.

It sounds like your brother had quite an adventure butvliv r to tell the tale. I'm glad I had the youth I did and wouldn't change it, even the dumb things I did sometimes. It was wholesome and fun mostly, and I learned a lot. I think the kids these days don't have the same opportunities, or choose not to have them.

Some escapades we did thinking back were downright dangerous, as you said would not change a thing, too much fun to be had along with scars a scrapes.
