I have been growing with my friend during the lasts years, and when we were child, we play together, share great moments, we have a beautiful childhood.

But when we were younger we decided to take different way in our life, I fortunately continued with my study and he decided to work to help his family, and this is good form of life the problem with this is that when you star to earn your own money you feel as an adult and take your own decisions, you can spend money sometimes influenced by a friend and they told you, hey man the good and true man starts to drink alcohol to feel better, and in this moment you start a different way in your life.

It is a way that if you do not have encourage and brave to say stop, it conducted to you in a spiral of dead, that never will stopped.

My friend David are in this situation, he work hard, and when he received a little of quantity of money he going to go to the shopping store and buy alcohol, and stay drinking, during weeks.

I am always taking with him, and told him, please stop to drinks alcohol my friend, it is not good for your life, bit as you know, when it is occurring is difficult to stop.

He have has a beautiful woman as wife, and unfortunately they leave him because he never stop to drink, and do not take care of her life and his life, right now he live alone, and always been very sad and alcoholic.

Sorry my friend I hope you one day God let you stopped the drink.

What a sad story of your friend. Sometimes life puts you on the wrong path and it's often hard to get yourself back in the right track.
And how you can help... Be there as a friend. You can try to convince him that life can be nice, but he has to admit he has a problem and he must be willing to change it. If he isn't committed to quit drinking it won't happen. And unfortunately you cannot do anything about it.
It sometimes helps to get someone out of his environment. The place on the photo's doesn't look like a cheerful place. But again... he is the one that needs to turn the switch.

Yes, it is hard, and his house is so very sad, and some times he go to sleep in the soil, or wherever it feel tired for the drink, I am trying to stay and help with a little of food or an advice but it is so sad
Thanks a lot for coming Sr.

You're such a good friend to remind him of it. There has to be an emotional underlying problem that causes him to harbor addiction to alcohol. If there's any government support for addiction relief, you should consider it. I mean, changes truly comes from within, if he doesn't realize it, that would still be difficult to change his way of life.

Yeah it is so hard because I am tried to help and he does not let us can help, the government has a little programs about help people with his vicious, but the problem is I some day come and say to my friend, come to me and I can helping you, but he do not accepted, and for this reason this is so sad to me.

It's a sad situation and I bet painful to see a friend suffer from self-inflicted damage that also hurts others. However, one needs to want to change for a change to happen and take responsibility for their actions.
