It's really cool to hear that you found a family, and interesting to hear about you learning how a loving family communicates, and fights, and gets over it, and stays together. My wife came from a somewhat dysfunctional family and it took a while for her to understand that my parents ACTUALLY love her unconditionally and would more or less do anything for her. Good for you for putting in the work and energy, it's super tough for introverts especially around very extroverted people.

Thanks! Yeah its an extraverted world out there...
Shared experience here. It's still hard for me to really 'believe' it, instinctively, but if your wife overcame that, I certainly will try too! It's reassuring to hear ^__^
You for sure will don't worry. It will take some time but eventually you will become comfortable with it. It's hard when you've been trained from a young age to react in a different way, or to be cautious, but eventually you will come around to it and realize that the way your new family treats you is totally normal.
