I’ve had the notion of spirituality more so these past few years than before. I’ve been through various stages of spirituality and similar to you, have found what works for me and what I enjoy but don’t need to preach it to others to reinforce it. I think we are all destined to find our way somehow. Some will be spiritual and others won’t but that’s fine because I also think of our human existence in the following context.
I heard a great quote last year that resonated well with me. “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience but we are spiritual beings having a human experience.” That moved me well! I really enjoyed it and think that it fits well with me in the stage of where I’m at. I think that we are here for the human experience and based on how it goes for us, we either move onto the next spiritual plane of existence wherever and however that may be, or we do this over again until we learn the lesson we were supposed to. If we don’t then we keep doing it.
I think this is affirmed for me in that seeing the crazy rich satanic worshipping people of bohemian grove and other vile ritualistic shit, I know there is absolutely the evil side of it all which makes me believe there has to be something to counter that, since life and the universe is about balance of yin and Yang. It’s given me solace to see those things, as vile and horrific as they are, to know that I’m not far off base with what I believe.
Thank you for such a thoughtful comment! Yes, we're in essence spirits embodied to have this experience and there are indeed practices that elevate that experience as well as practices that lessen it. I've talked about the dark side of spirituality before I will talk more about later, because there's no avoiding it in my country. I find that it's important at least to know what those rituals are and why they're done, so as to better deal with people who engage in them.
I wish you great fortune and learning in the path that you've chosen, and hope that we can have more and more of these conversations on these posts. Blessings to you!
