From a tender age, I enrolled on a lot of quiz and debate which i can't keep record of how many. I participated basically on competitive social clubs owned by schools just because of the love a debating and indirectly learning new things.
There was this topic on a certain debate competition which was about teachers are better than doctors or vice versa, we we're told to prove points and deliberate more on why the choice.
As at then we kids really never knew much on the importance of teachers compared to doctors, I guess, looking st one works in a classroom while the other in a designated hospital, back then it was an automatic pass for doctors proposer than teachers proposer.
Yeah, doctors saves lives, they are so vulnerable in every part of the world as far we live and breathe air in our lungs. While I personally can't just throw away that fact that the teachers are the bedrock of every profession available as a career be it doctors or engineer. Since it is a debate, let the best analyzer win.
In details,at me talk more on the teachers as a profession, naturally before any professional become who he or she thinks they're must pass through a teacher. Simple and facts.
Everyone was ones inside a classroom learning how to speak English and solve calculations.
Knowledge must be built first and this gratitude goes to all teachers out there.
It is these teachers that would instill morals, good character rather than the nonchalant kind.
No doctor or astronaut hasn't pass through a class teacher, that alone has even dissolve any debate trying to arise.
A teacher’s role can't be limited to classrooms alone; they instill good character, guide decision makings, and inspire ambition. Even doctors once had teachers who guided them through their early days of education.
On the other hand, if we are to talk about doctors, we are speaking of life savers, because without doctors to treat us, society would be crippled by disease, accidents and epidemics. There is no use for education if you are not healthy, because only a healthy person can achieve can go to school to learn. In the society, a teacher can help you to think, but the doctor ensures that you live long enough to apply that knowledge.
In terms of sickness, doctors are the pillars of hope in the society. Take a look at the COVID-19 case for example, while schools were closed, doctors still stayed in the hospital risking their lives to keep others alive and that alone proved this point clearly. Your tomorrow might take shape because of the knowledge you got from a teacher, but that tomorrow can only be possible with the help of a doctor.
A classroom and a hospital ward are two different world but each of them carry an equal sense of dedication, because the teacher in the classroom works with books, chalk or marker and instill knowledge and ideas, while in the hospital ward, the doctor works with medical tool, medicine and the human life. You gain wisdom from a teacher and you remain healthy because of the doctor. So tell me which is more important, knowledge or health?
If am to give my personal opinion about this, I will say with all honesty that one cannot fully exist without the other. Because as teachers hold the foundation of every profession including medicine, doctors hold the curtain of life and survival. So in this regard, I will say both of them are indispensable as Teachers being the architect of knowledge and Doctors being the guardian of life.
Without teachers there are no doctors and without Doctors there are no healthy teachers, because together they keep the society running.
