Embarrassing Moments

Hello Hive friends and readers. Today I give to you a few embarrassing moments of mine. We are far from being perfect and sometimes our tongues or actions lead to embarrassing moments. I give you the ok to laugh at what I'm about to share. If your comfortable share yours in the comments or write an article of your own.

Nervous farts

This incident happened some 25 years ago. A little background first, it was my roommate, his girlfriend, a friend of hers, and myself. Her friend and I were kinda on a blind date you could say. This all took place at my apartment.

The evening started with some socializing as we were consuming some alcoholic drinks as we were waiting for some pizza to be delivered. We had rented a movie to watch later.

Once we finished eating pizza we started the movie. I was already a ball of nerves. I was sitting in a two person love seat with my date. My date was cold and asked for a throw blanket. It was not cold at all in our apartment, if anything a little warm.

It was about a minute or so and my date grabbed my hand and held it. Wrong timing as soon as that happened I felt a fart coming. I held it for as long as I could before I excused myself to go to the bathroom.

I get to the bathroom turn on the fan and shut the door. Oh the release, I was thinking good I'm good to go now. However I stayed for a few minutes. While doing this my stomach starting to feel upset which led me to staying even longer.

I eventually come back out and sat back down. She grabs my hand again and the feeling comes again. I made it about 15 minutes and excused myself again. All I could think about was she probably thought I had the shits or something.

It was a little different coming back this time. The throw blanket was gone and she did not reach out for hand. I ended up excusing myself one more time. I felt all eyes on me this time though. Damn farts ruined the night but not anybody's sense of smell, lol. My date left shortly after that and then the farts were gone.

My roommate and his girlfriend of course asked me why so many trips to the bathroom. I told them I had a case of the nervous farts. They both thought that was hilarious and told me my date thought I was strange making so many trips. I never saw my date again but I don't blame her, I would have probably done the same.

Deer in the headlights

This is by far my most embarrassing moment. It all started by meeting up at a bar with a girl I dated a few times. I was a young 22 and she was 38. I had plenty to drink while she maybe had a drink. I was there a few hours prior before she showed up. She asked if I wanted to get out of here. I said sure why not.

On the way walking to her car she noticed a sand volleyball court. She asked me if I had ever done "it" outside. I'll admit I lied to her and said yes, lol. She than said let's go have some fun in the sand. I wasn't to fond of the idea but she told me it will be a rush trust me.

Alright we had fun in the sand. Here it comes, it's closing time than all of a sudden all these bright lights are onto us. They were the head lights from vehicles. I froze for a few seconds until I heard yelling, whistling, honking, and laughing. We both grabbed our clothes and got behind an outer buildings.

We stayed there for awhile and returned back to the sand. I'll always remember this and it was a tad more than a rush. Just glad there weren't blue and red lights 😲

After thoughts

We all have those embarrassing moments because we are human after all. I have plenty more embarrassing moments but I'll keep some of them to myself. Like I said at the top if you have any your comfortable with sharing please tell :)
