Which bots do you specifically think are causing a problem?

I think overtime bots have been fought in some ways depending on their impact on the ecosystem, take for example voting bots and the ability to buy votes back in the day, an issue which could be considerable issue to the ecosystem and was essentially removed with some adjustments to how curation works.

I think of course some bots potentially harm rewards or genuine curation, but for every bot, there are also 100 hundred humans who do the same thing, so it's about tackling the most things first and any development team (even those working on the core hive) only have limited resources at hand so have to focus on what they believe is most valuable.

Although bots can sometimes be a pain, not all bots in Hive are bad. Some of them are "good" bots doing jobs automatically that would otherwise have to be done manually by a human.

For example, the admin of a community on Hive might create an account by transferring their own HIVE to it so it has vote power, then set it up so it automatically upvotes posts made on the community page or using the community tag.  Or a whale might create up a subsidiary "bot" account to upvote posts on a curation trail of one kind or another.

Using bots like this might free up an hour or more a week which can then be used to create quality content. It seems crazy to not use beneficial technology if it's available !

Bots do so much good on Hive... from the autovote bots to the spam detection bots to the market-maker bots.  If you got rid of bots on Hive, you basically make everything way less efficient and people would leave.  Disabling bots on Hive is a super bad idea.
