1: kaafal (Scientific name: Myrica esculenta) Kaafal flowers in March and the fruit becomes ready from May to June. It is eaten when it is green to red in color, the darker red color the sweeter and tastier it is.
This fruit is found at an altitude of 3000 to 6000 feet above sea level.
बेड़ू पाको बारामासा, हो नरैण काफल पाको चैता मेरी छैला. This is a famous song of Uttarakhand in which Kafal is mentioned and also Bedu.
2: Bedu: Bedu which is mentioned in the song "Bedu Pako Baramasa, Ho Narain Kafal Pako Chaita Meri Chaila" is also a local fruit. Bedu is a variety of fig. It is smaller in size than fig.
3: Kilmora: Kilmora is a very tasty fruit that grows in thorny bushes. It is small in size and is eaten in the summer season when it turns dark purple. Its flower is also eaten which is sweet and sour to eat. it's a wild fruit.
4:Hisalu: It is a yellow colored delicious fruit full of sweet juice. Its bushes are very thorny. It is a wild fruit. It is also a variety of berry.
5: Pine nuts: is a fruit that grows on pine trees.
6: ghingaru : Its taste is just like every other fruit here which is the combination of sweet, sour and tangy delicacy.
