Beautiful A-line sequence lace gown with beads at the sleeve.

in Ecency4 months ago

Good day my amazing hiveans.hope our day went well today. i bless God almighty for the gift of life and for the privilege of seeing today.
yeah is your girl veemahfashion and today I have come to share my little experience with us on how i made this beautiful sequence lace with beads.

These are the tools i used in achieving this;
---- my tape roll
--- my scissors
--- my chalk
--- my ruler
--- my measurement book
--- the lace fabric i want to cut

This is A-line gown that has a half cut and so i first of all subtract sixteen inches(16") from the full length which is fiftyfive(55")giving me thirtynine inches (39").

So i added just one inch to it making it forty.so i fold the sequence lace into four leaving just one point five inches (1.5") for zipper allowance.

From the top i place my tape to eight inches for the hip line and then from that same top i measure sixteen inches (16") which is about three inches before the knee that's where the A-line effect will start from.

After that,at the top line which is also the waist you divide your waist round circumference by four and add two inches allowance.you also divide the hip round circumference by four and add two inches allowance and mark.

Now whatever you have at the hip line you will subtract one point five inches (1.5")from it and mark it before the knee and from there you slant it down to the hem line in an A-line form.

Now for the half cut which is the top , i fold it into four i also left one point five inches (1.5") for the zipper also.now you will place your tape on the main fabric not on the zipper allowance and take your shoulder measurement divided by two and mark from there you come down by one inch for the shoulder slope and from there you also mark your armhole measurements.

Remember i told us that to get or know your armhole measurement all you need to do is to divide your burst measurements by six and add one point five inches (1.5") to it.that's how to get your armhole measurement.

From the top you measure down ten inches (10") which is the burst point, from the shoulder to thirteen inches (13") which is the underburst and from the top to sixteen and half inches (16.5") for the waist line.

Now at the underburst line down to the waist line you will mark your nipple to nipple spam measurements divided by two. and the work am working with is four inches i will mark it down.i will draw out my burst line and the underburst line and at that underburst line i willgo out by two inches and then make my burst curve and connect it back to the waist line and then you will also input the burst, the round underburst and the waist measurement all divided by four with two inches allowance.

You will go through your markings, cross-check if their correct and if is okay then you can now cut then out.

Then move straight to the sewing machine to sew it.

So you start joining the side front to the centre front and also do same for the back and you also turn each of them with the dull face and linning.

After that you start joining it to the skirt part and also join your zipper.

Also for the sleeve is a structure sleeve.i took the sleeve length and I sew it adding crenoline one inches and a riggeline bony and I sew them together to achieve a structure effect.

I also design the sleeve with a golden yellow crystal beads that really make it to come out so beautiful.

So guys here is the finished work of this dress.i hope is lovely.
