God's Eternal Trumpet!

Namaste!

Today I have chosen Ecency Community to spread the colors of my photography because this community welcomes everyone with almost no restrictions!

Google Lens is confused about whether this is Devil's Trumpet or Angel's Trumpet.

This is true. Although this flower has a great significance in Hinduism and Ayurveda and I know it well in that way, still I thought why not ask Google Lens by what name this flower is known in the world?

In the search result, there were two names of the same flower, one Angel's Trumpet and the other Devil's Trumpet and according to Google Lens, both are correct. So I thought that since Angel-Devil-You-Me and everything else is created by God, why not call it God's Trumpet without getting confused?

In Hinduism, this flower is called Dhatura and is 5 to 8 inches long from its sepal to the top. It is considered auspicious to offer it to Lord Shiva. It also bears a thorny fruit which is also called Thorn Apple in some places and it can be poisonous but it is also used in traditional Ayurvedic Medicines.

Generally, I have seen this flower growing on the roadside and in parks only. I don't know if it is cultivated professionally either. But it is true that like any other flower, seeing it is also a wonderful feeling. Usually, I capture only tiny little flowers in the park, so this time I have photographed a large white flower representing purity, innocence and peace. 💮

I hope you liked my Story and Phone Photography!🙏🏼

the appearance of the flowers is very beautiful, I used to often see these flowers but now they are rare. Maybe because the fruit is dangerous that's why it was destroyed.

The fruit is poisonous but remember even the most poisonous things are used to treat the biggest illnesses. These plants may have disappeared due to climate change or something. :)

Akhil ji 🙏 you have taken very beautiful pictures of the Dhatura flower. You are right, it has a lot of importance in our Hindu religion and Ayurveda. It is also a little intoxicating, in our country, its seeds are mixed with 'Bhang' on the day of Holi. But it is made very carefully. It is dangerous if its quantity is high.

Bhaang se sath iska use main pahli baar sun raha hoon par kuch bhi ho sakta hai.. waise iska poisonous hona surprising nahi hai kyunki Shiv Shambho ko arpit karne ke liye aksar ye phool hi pahli pasand hote hain. Thank you mulik ji, aapko kaafi gahen Gyan hai in baaton ka. :)

Dhanyvaad Akhilji,🙏 aisaa kuch nahi ,magar mera pura bachpan gaav men bita hai ,aur muje Nature se bahut lagav hai isliye kuch bate janta hun.bass. aapko bhi iska aakarshan hai, aacha lagta hai .Thanks 🙏

Good morning sir @untilwelearn
what a beautiful plant, it has beautiful flowers, how peculiar is its name, I had never heard of it before
Beautiful shots

There is so much beauty in nature that it can surprise us every moment. :) Thank you!

You made good by calling it, God's trumpet because He's the owner of all things. Beautiful flowers with peculiar shapes.

Thank you so much for appreciating its beauty, friend!😊

We call it Dhatura as well. We used to dissect many such flowers in our botany classes :)

TBH, I didn't know that it is called Angels' or Devil's trumpets! Interesting read!

!PIZZA

Wow, It felt good to know that the country changed but the identity of this flower did not change. :)
I also came to know about this English name just yesterday and it's okay because everything belongs to god only.
