Recap about our time in Corfu

Hey guys! So my last post I was about us almost being at Corfu! This post is going to be about what we have done since getting here and how we are liking it! So around 2 weeks ago we arrived in Corfu!

And as we where driving me and Percy where talking saying that we really wanted Indian food and we hoped they had it in Corfu, 10 minutes later as we where leaving the ferry port we saw…….. An Indian!! 😋 so we went there to eat on our first day on Corfu! After a few days we met the kids we needs living above they are a boy who is 10 and a girl who is 12 so we all get along well and hang out quite a lot❤️ they also have horses so we have gone horse riding a few times together and they have a bunch of olive trees so we have picked olives and got fresh olive oil! We have gone to Corfu town twice since it is a 45 minute drive from where we are staying but the area we are staying at is big enough and has everything we need! I even found a dog sanctuary to help out at 15 minutes away from us! I have gone quite a few times to walk dogs since I like doing that sort of stuff, so in the time we have been here we have 1 gone horse riding 2 picked olives and got olive oil 3 gone to Corfu town and dad lost his bag 🤦‍♀️ 4 walked dogs 4 seen flamingoes for the first time and 6 Percy did a race! So we have been quite busy with all the things we are discovering and doing around here! We also spent halloween here! I dressed as a harry potter character!

We went to a small party that was being put on by an english woman! We heard about it from the family we are renting from, we went and got shown around by them and after came home and watched a movie!

We live a 10 minute walk from the beach so go there
sometimes and have a nice swim! The water is not warm but not cold either so it’s a nice temperature to just jump in and swim for a bit and get out again. I personally prefer freshwater over saltwater since saltwater leaves my skin feeling a little bit itchy and irritated, but it’s still really nice to swim in for a little bit! It’s really nice here because it reminds me of Guatemala temperature wise because it gets warm during the day and a little bit cold to during the night, so I’m used to it! Mom obviously would like it to be a bit warmer but she is fine with it since its not too cold! Dad has lots if hair so he stays warm.

But it is even starting to get a bit chilli around here for Dad who we find getting warm in his hive poncho!
