🏃♀️ Sunset Diary: When Breath Harmonizes with the River of Trang ✨
Hello, my health-conscious and travel-loving friends 😊
In a hectic day, many may seek happiness from external things, but for me, happiness often begins simply at my feet. After finishing a long series of household chores that lasted until evening, and with everything tidying up, the urge to recharge immediately surged. I grabbed my socks and favorite running shoes, checked that the laces were snug, and prepared to meet the best reward of the day: reuniting with myself in nature.
The Enchanting Riverbanks of Trang: A Painting from the Brush of Nature
My goal today is the route along the Trang River canal, a route I love and am very familiar with. I start my run from in front of the temple, a quiet and enchanting starting point. The scent of old bricks and the soft sound of bells help to calm my mind before I step onto the running track along the sidewalk.

As I ran along the route, the scenery on both sides made me forget my fatigue completely. The Trang River in the evening seemed so still and deep. The water's surface reflected the lush green trees along the banks. Breezes occasionally brushed against my face, bringing a refreshing coolness to my body.

The most important highlight is the "sunset sky." Tonight, the sky over Trang looked like it was painted with a giant brush. Deep golden-orange hues alternated with muted pinks at the horizon, reflecting on the water's surface to create a sparkling effect like beautiful diamonds. It was a moment when nature truly bestowed its healing power.

The art of breathing: When body and mind become one. In today's run, I paid special attention to the "rhythm of breathing" because effective running isn't just about stomping fast, but about controlling the body's internal systems to maintain balance.
Inhalation: I tried to breathe in as deeply as possible through my nose, letting the air pass down to my stomach, to take in the pure, oxygen-rich air from the river into my lungs. Deep breathing helps the body receive energy and reduces side stitches.

Exhaling: I emphasized the gentle exhalation through my mouth, alternating between stepping with my right and left feet, to expel carbon dioxide and accumulated fatigue from my body.
I used a steady breathing technique; this rhythm made the music in my headphones mere background noise, but the clearest sound was my own breathing. As my breathing became steady, my heart beat more evenly, and the distracting thoughts from housework and my demanding work gradually settled into calmness. I felt my muscles working in perfect coordination.

💦 The Last Drop of Sweat and the Reward of Effort
The further I ran, the more sweat seeped from my pores, soaking my shirt. But that was an incredibly satisfying feeling. It was like my body was expelling toxins and stress. When I reached my target and gradually slowed down to a cool-down walk, the copious amount of sweat today was a confirmation that I did it!
Even though my legs were shaking from exhaustion and impact, what I gained was a lightness in my mind. It was like receiving an enormous amount of positive energy, and I went home feeling refreshed and revitalized.
The final conclusion of the day.

My evening run ended with a smile. Now it's time to get back to cooking and prepare a nutritious dinner to replenish the energy I've used. Thank you nature, thank you Trang River, and most importantly, thank you to myself for taking the time to care for my health.
If anyone is looking for a way to relieve stress or wants to start loving themselves, try "running" as the answer. You don't have to run fast or far; just step out and feel your own breath, and you'll realize that the same world in the evening is more beautiful than you think.

Oou, I absolutely love the reflection of the setting sun on the river. It’s beautiful to behold.
Btw, how wide is the river? If the fences weren’t there, would it be crossable by foot?
Thank you 😊
Glad you enjoyed the sunset! It looks peaceful, but the river is wider than it looks.
