Description
The Lancia Delta HF Integrale had some iconic features:

• The front end with four round headlights
• The grille with the HF logo
• The flared wheel arches and wheels specific to the Integrale version
• The air intakes on the hood
  The Lancia Delta HF Integrale is undoubtedly one of the most iconic models in rally history, a multiple world champion in Group A.
  First Appearance
  It first appeared in 1987 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. On that occasion, the first evolutionary step of the Delta HF 4WD was presented, later known as the Delta HF Integrale.
  Successes in the World Rally Championship
  Shortly after its creation, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale began to dominate the World Rally Championship. It won the championship in 1988, 1989, and 1991. It took second place in 1990 and 1992. The Lancia Delta HF Integrale only finished second in those two years, perhaps because the other side, that is, the one who came first, was a certain Carlos Sainz, perhaps the most famous rally driver in the world (father of F1 driver Carlos Sainz Jr.).

The Origins of the Project
The original Lancia Delta was designed by Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, while the HF Integrale version was developed based on Giugiaro's model by Lancia's in-house technical departments. Much of the work was carried out by the sporting division, which inherited Abarth's expertise.
Compared to the Giugiaro version, the Delta HF Integrale has undergone engine modifications, supercharging, the addition of all-wheel drive, and a new suspension.

Thoughts
The flared wheel arches of the Lancia Delta HF are unforgettable for me. As a child, when I saw this car speeding down the streets, I thought I was looking at a monster of a car.

La Lancia Delta HF Integrale aveva dei tratti iconici:
-Il frontale con quattro fari tondi

-Le prese d’aria sul cofano
La Lancia Delta HF Integrale è sicuramente uno dei modelli più iconici della storia dei rally, pluricampione del mondo nel Gruppo A.
La prima apparizione
La prima apparizione avvenne nel 1987 al Salone dell'automobile di Francoforte. In quell’occasione venne presentato il primo step evolutivo della Delta HF 4WD, riconosciuta poi con il nome Delta HF Integrale
I successi nel Campionato del Mondo Rally
La Lancia Delta HF Integrale, poco dopo la sua realizzazione, inizia a dominare le scene del Campionato Mondiale Rally. Vince il campionato nel 1988. 1989, 1991. Nel 1990 e nel 1992 si aggiudicò il secondo posto. La Lancia Delta HF Integrale arrivò solo seconda in quei due anni forse solo perché dall’altra parte, cioè chi arrivò primo, era un certo Carlos Sainz, forse il più famoso pilota rally al mondo (padre del pilota di F1 Carlos Sainz Jr).

Le origini del progetto
La Lancia Delta originale fu progettata dal designer italiano Giorgetto Giugiaro, mentre la versione HF Integrale venne sviluppata sulla base del modello di Giugiaro dai reparti tecnici interni Lancia. Gran parte fu studiata dall’area sportiva erede delle competenze di Abarth.
Rispetto alla versione di Giugiaro la Delta HF Integrale ha subito interventi sul motore, di sovralimentazione, aggiunta della trazione integrale, un nuovo assetto

Pensieri
I passaruota allargati della Lancia Delta HF per quanto mi riguarda sono indimenticabili. Da piccolo quando vedevo questa autovettura sfrecciare per le strade mi sembrava di vedere un mostro di macchina.
