Cherished Memories and the Lessons of Time

All joyful journeys must come to an end, and as I look back at the photos from four years ago, I can't help but feel grateful for the meaningful experiences I had. On our final day, I visited a store run by the Sami people, where I found unique souvenirs and even bought reindeer heart meat. One of my most treasured purchases was a pair of traditional Sami gloves, which have kept me warm and bring back fond memories every time I wear them.

We spent that last day cozying up in cafes and bars, savoring each moment until it was time to board the night train. It was an incredibly valuable trip, with precious time spent with my ex sambo. At the time, I never imagined it would be my last adventure for a long while, as the pandemic would soon grip the world. The impact of COVID-19 turned my life upside down, making it difficult to travel or connect with others.

Life is unpredictable, and the twists and turns can be overwhelming. However, as I navigate these challenges, I view the pandemic as a chapter in my life story. I have learned to embrace the changes it brought and to appreciate the joy in the little things, lifting my spirits as I move forward.

Even now, I carry the wisdom of these experiences with me. I remain hopeful and open to the beautiful moments that life still holds, reminding myself to cherish every journey, whether big or small. Keep shining brightly and finding joy in each day.
