I recall my days in Pegasus Primary School now Pegasus Schools, it was customary to list out our new year resolutions at the start of a new year which usually fell in the second term of the school year under creative writing.
My teachers would make us read our new year resolutions before the entire class, so that we do not fall out on our resolutions. In Primary 3 we were asked to print it out and it was pasted on a cardboard and placed at the back of the classroom. I was known for my loud talk which earned me a spot on the list of noise makers almost every time.
Every year, the first item on my resolution was to stop making noise in class, playing and causing problems in the class. For a week or two, I would be so behaved until my true self could not longer be hidden. Since being an adult I have not penned down any resolution anymore but I hope to soonest
