This is a misleading statement for multiple reasons. One is that Joe Biden didn't create any jobs.. Most of the job market had decreased due to lockdowns. Allowing people to go back to work is not the same as creating new jobs. By that metric Joe Biden has created 0 jobs during his first year in presidency
Secondly Joe Biden ignores the record number of jobs Donald Trump created after inheriting the worst recession in American history from Nancy Pelosi in 2020. In March of 2020 when Nancy Pelosi on the Democrats had stolen the house and crashed the economy with unscientific lockdowns Trump began his record-breaking recovery. Up until that point it had been Obama's economy. As CNN's so aptly reminds us. But after Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats crashed the economy that was the beginning of Trumps record-breaking economic recovery.. In the first six months of Donald Trump's recovery he created over 12 million new jobs.. In contrast during the first year of Obama's presidency he only created 1.5 million jobs.. And during the first year of Joe Biden's presidency he only created 5 million jobs. Joe Biden has had a net decrease in jobs of about 7 million per year.. Joe Biden has seen a 150% decrease in job growth
