The moon is so bright tonight.
A waxing gibbous.
Not yet full enough to shine to it’s true potential, but still enough to bring so much to light.
The coolest part is that, even if you don’t realize it, there’s millions of people, even miles away, looking at the same moon with the same awe and amazement you are.
It stays up to light the world while the sun sleeps.
Proof that, sometimes, even the things that burn the most intensely must also lay to rest. To recover.
The cool thing about nature is that it has so many lessons to teach us.
But most are so busy pushing through life to stop an appreciate it all.
Life is about the simple things.
Things that are, too often, overlooked or just completely missed.
Look at the moon.
Listen to your heart.
Appreciate the little things.
Everything happens for a reason.
And it’s all out of our control.
