#LivingElSalvador. Celebrating the New Year in El Salvador.

Happy New Year to all my Hive friends.
Hope you had a wonderful New Years and a wonderful 1st day of 2025.

We all said "Good Bye" to 2024 and "Welcome" 2025. We were just planning to stay home and celebrate the New Year quietly, but a family member, from Ahuachapan (about 45 min drive) really wanted us to come and celebrate with them, so we did and glad we did it.

There was a lot of delicious food, like El Salvadorian tamales, pan con pollo (bun with veggies, chicken and sause) and ham with rice and potatoe salad.

There was some singing, a lot of food and fireworks. The only thing missing were my boys and my family.

We also got to meet some new people, which was great and we all had a wonderful time. We came back home at 3:30 AM.
