I recently celebrated my first year in this magical world of Ecency on Hive.
What better way to celebrate this first year, Christmas, and the New Year than with a large beehive-shaped cake, decorated with a whole honeycomb as a tribute and gift to all the wonderful people of Hive!
For this cake, I substituted honey for sugar, the warmth of hugs for fire, the whiteness of pure snow for bread flour, and smiles for time. And so, I give everyone my hug of light so we can smile together!
We serve the cake in honeycomb shapes so you can navigate life with a smile!
El Pan de Jamón y la Colmena Digital de la Navidad
La Christmas es un tiempo de reencuentro, un faro de calidez en la mitad del invierno, y su corazón indiscutible late en la cocina. En mi rincón del mundo, la esencia de la festividad se materializa en el aroma de un pan de jamón horneándose, una sinfonía de sabores que une generaciones. Esta tradición culinaria, que se nutre del compartir y la comunidad, me recuerda a la estructura de la plataforma que nos acoge: Hive.
Al igual que las abejas obreras trabajan en armonía para construir y sustentar su colmena (la hive), cada miembro de mi familia aporta su ingrediente, su historia, su risa, para dar forma a la celebración. La cocina se convierte en un bullicioso centro de actividad, un ecosistema donde cada esfuerzo individual contribuye al bien común, al plato final que todos disfrutarán. Los relatos de hallacas y menús tradicionales venezolanos son frecuentes en las publicaciones de la comunidad de Hive.
Compartir estos momentos, estas recetas heredadas y las nuevas creaciones, ha encontrado un nuevo espacio gracias a herramientas digitales como Ecency. Esta interfaz funciona como un puente moderno, permitiendo que la diáspora y las familias conectadas a través de las distancias puedan visualizar, compartir y saborear virtualmente las tradiciones culinarias, sin importar dónde se encuentren. Desde la laboriosa construcción de la comunidad, cual labor en la Hive culinaria, hasta la difusión global a través de Ecency, cada bocado es un recordatorio de la unión. Y con el último brindis, celebramos la promesa de un próspero New Year, esperando que las mesas de todos estén tan llenas de alegría y sabor como la nuestra.
Since "Hive" is synonymous with the golden warmth of honey. I don't know much about dishes, but a little search resulted to a "Honey-Clove Glazed Roasted Carrots & Parsnips" as the dish.
Steps:
Preparation: Arrange the roasted vegetables in a hexagonal pattern to look like a honeycomb. Sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds. To prevent the sugar from burning, toss the vegetables in the honey halfway through roasting

We're wrapping up this year of adventures and learning. As always, we're sharing recipes made with abundance and love. We mixed 5 eggs from a hive with a cup of condensed milk full of HBD, plenty of Christmas sugar, and a touch of vanilla extract to sweeten the holidays. This way, we'll have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year 2026, looking forward to the next contests.
There are only a few days left to finish the calendar, and everyone has put a lot of enthusiasm and heart into their contributions.

Snowy Beehive Buche de Noël
A light vanilla sponge rolled with luscious whipped cream infused with warm cinnamon and nutmeg. Covered in smooth white chocolate "bark" for a snowy winter look, shaped into a perfect beehive dome. Topped with a glittering sugar honeycomb made from spun caramel, sprinkled with edible silver stars for New Year sparkle, and finished with cute marzipan bees wearing tiny Santa hats.
Perfect for sharing on Ecency and ringing in the new year.

Since I love MasterChef, I'm going to play chef and design this two-course Christmas menu, inspired by Hive: "Essence of the Forest and the Earth."
The common thread will be honey and morels.
FIRST COURSE: EARTHY MOREL AND BLACK TRUFFLE RISOTTO
This consists of a creamy Carnaroli rice risotto, cooked with a mild mushroom broth. It incorporates a delicate sauté of fresh morels (cleaned and sliced) and shallot. This dish is finished with truffle butter, grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, and, when served, topped with thin slices of fresh black truffle and a few drops of honey.
MAIN COURSE: HONEY-GLAZED IBERIAN PORK SHOULDER WITH ROOT PUREE
A prime cut of pork leg, such as Iberian pork shoulder or secreto, cooked at a low temperature to achieve an exceptionally juicy and tender texture. It's seared on a griddle and glazed in the oven with a mixture of honey, mustard, soy sauce, and a splash of apple cider vinegar. It's served with mashed potatoes, accompanied by morel mushrooms sautéed in port wine and shavings of black truffle on top of the meat.
Truffles and pork are a winning combination, and everyone loves them. That's why I chose them to accompany the morels and honey. Enjoy, and Happy New Year!

Hello Hive, hello Christmas with Ecency. Today I want to share with you a unique flavor. I am talking about Cuban orange candy, a true classic during Christmas.
It is made by caramelizing the white part of the orange, or sometimes larger lemon like fruits that taste similar to lime. The aroma is wonderful, sweet and citrusy. The candy shines with a characteristic glossy look. Outside it is firm, inside it is juicy with a slightly acidic touch.
I will share a video about this traditional treat.

For a Christmas dish, I always go for a sure thing:
Spit-roasted suckling pig stuffed with well-seasoned moro rice.
The side dish would be yucca with mojo sauce.
And I would also serve a fountain of hot, creamy chocolate.

My special visitor and friend is the New Year, 2026!
I have a special delicacy that I only prepare for special people like my special visitor. This delicacy is one that intrigues and appeals to the new dispensation online investors. I discovered this delicacy when I myself was looking for what I could take that will give me true independent satisfaction. Do you know what I mean? Now, I have a great sister who usually visit me one in every year. Sister is on the way coming she will help me prepare the ground for the reception of my visitor. Sister Christmas is a friend I love so much. Whenever she is around, joy fills everywhere. In 4 days time, Christmas will arrive to help me prepare the ground to receive the New Year!
