What do you miss on Hive/Ecency which other social media platforms
Hive and Ecency are on a level of their own. There are a gazillion things offered here that none of the other social media platforms offer.π₯ππͺ
That being said and not that is "missed" per se, it would be nice to have our friends' birthdays pop up so we can celebrate their special day with them.π¬π―π
Also it would be wonderful if when I click on an image in the Ecency app the exact image pops instead of the first one and then I have to scroll to the one I want to see.πΈ
To those requesting private chat, we already have Discord as an option.

There are a few things by the addition of which hive could be even better, and those other social media already have:
I know hive already has a third party integration with openhive.chat. What would be much better would be integrating openhive.chat into hive.blog seamlessly, or implementing their own chat feature in hive.blog.
Hive already offers uploading picture or video, but we canβt upload them together everywhere. Sometimes people donβt wanna use 3speak to upload their video, they would just want to upload a small snippet along side all the photos in a regular blog. It is really frustrating to make a travel blog with so many awesome pictures and not be able to upload videos. So, this feature would be a great help.
Short videos or Reels became very popular when tiktok came. Now just like every other social media platform has adopted this feature. It will be really nice to see some short video feature in hive so that the entertainment channels could be more creative.
Try 3Speak for video, you can make them as short as you want. Haha.

The thing is it doesnβt really feel as seamless as tiktok. You could also very well upload short videos on youtube before youtube shorts, but they implemented this feature and made it easier. Hive would be really good with that on.
Someone will build a Dapp for it. There are already over 129 Dapps on Hive. ππππ
Sincerely speaking for me there's nothing going on on those other social media platforms. I'm not missing out on anything here on Hive on like other social media platforms, I'm speaking for myself. Because on other social platforms there's nothing more interesting than just knowing what's trending around the world. Here on Hive you'll get to learn and earn at the same time and that's one of the most interesting thing about it. Hive to the world.

Happy day to be honest, I totally do not have any other social network I have never liked but with #Hive / #Ecency it is different since I can get some very useful extra money right now. I'm just learning to use Twitter and to complement my work here, so I don't miss any other social network. How does my brother tell me I am a "Hermit"

To be honest I think that itβs a wonderful platform, however in other social mediaβs I have my friends. As a teenager I enjoy interacting with other teenagers through social media, many of us have hobbies in common and enjoy the same type of content. Whilst, I do enjoy many of the content in Hive I think that younger creators would benefit this platform with innovative content.
Iβve tried to explain to many friends what this platform is about and the communities it has, but they just see it as a type of Instagram in which likes are money. They obviously have the wrong idea and Iβm still trying to teach them about the platform and cryptocurrencies in general.
Hmm I think we should have private messages and also watch videos with ease being shared by the authors.

Honestly? Most often the interaction/engagement. For example YouTube have a proper amount of interaction. Even the smallest YouTubers and the occasional YouTube uploaders have interaction/engagement. And the comments are often funny. People are clearly there for the content (consuming) on YouTube. On Hive, people are mostly here for content creation. There are too many content creators, and too little content consumers. This leads to many ignored anvd/or overlooked posts.
What I really miss is also answering questions like this with a conference video calls which will definitely be awesome.

To be brutally honest, I hardly visit any of my other social media profiles anymore, even though some of my childhood friends frequent those platforms. Iβm actively trying to convert them to Hive. Therefore, I canβt be missing much; I spend my time on Hive - consuming wonderful content and attempting to create my own. As for features, I think image filters would be nice (AND PLEASE LET ME DEVELOP THEM FOR YOU), but not much else. As for private messaging, I hate the idea, open comments that anyone can read are part of Hiveβs charm - you canβt cause nonsense, else everyone would know! On Instagram the DM is usually used by trolls, for instance. As for video uploads use 3Speak ( you earn on two different frontends, then). Iβm happy, I think the platform has many benefits. Iβm a fan
β¦I use YouTube a lot. Being able to put on a video and just have the sound be a background to my life is useful.
Also, Ecency isnβt the fastest. Thatβs the nature of the decentralized blockchain, but Iβve gotten used to instant updates for edits and publishing.
How can I participate
Introducing of Hive debit card will be awesome like steem debit card.
I think there are a few things I miss from other social media platforms and I will list them down below;
The First would be voice chats, I feel like it's not every time I want to type, and voice messages make it easy.
The second would be that other social media platforms have less pressure, here on hive/ecency, it feels like a job and not just somewhere to have fun, I don't know if I am the only one who feels that way.
Lastly will be freedom, I can't come here and just post random stuff or just collages of pictures because more meaningful things are appreciated.
Even though for me these aren't really important, it is just a few things I miss sometimes.

Good evening, I consider that the Hive / Ecency platform is great conceived in this way, which makes it unique, here you share content, have fun, interact and are rewarded for that. It is a great community.
I really love the fact that hive and Ecency are different from other social media platforms. I donβt miss anything because Ecency and hive is unique.
I love this platform from what it is and never finding anything like on the other platform
Personally, I find Hive/Ecency much better than other SNS platforms. But maybe it will be nice to have something like a short tutorial for newbies. It can be like tasks or quests, or just poping up windows with tips. So, beginners will get used to it much better and faster
I find it a little boring to be approving every action in the wallet. I honestly don't know if there is any shortcut that allows this procedure to be done automatically.
A way to talk to other people in a private way would also be interesting, but there should be some way to contain spans, as it is very, very annoying...
HIVE/ Ecency is a great community, I see nothing missed.
